Gerald (Judd) Hevern, age 85, of Rock Valley, died Sunday, December 1, 1991, at the Valley Manor Nursing Home of Rock Valley. Services will begin at 10:30 A.M. today, Wednesday, December 4, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Rock Valley. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery of Rock Valley. Father Donald R. Smith will be officiating. Prayer service was held Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. at the Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley.

Gerald (Judd) Hevern was born June 12, 1906 near Rock Valley. He was the son of Frank and Jennie (Fitzpatrick) Hevern. He attended Saint Mary’s School in Rock Valley and Columbus College before farming on the family farm near Rock Valley. Judd retired and moved to Rock Valley in 1971. He moved to the Valley Manor Nursing Home of Rock Valley February 15, 1989.

Surviving relatives include three sister-in-law, Margaret Hevern of Rock Valley, Alma Hevern and Mildred Hevern both of California; nephews and nieces.
