Leland Heusinkveld, 41, of Orange City, died Saturday of injuries suffered in a truck accident near Klamath Falls, Oregon.

According to authorities, his semi went out of control and flipped on U.S. Highway 97, when his south-bound truck drifted onto the shoulder, causing him to lose control four miles south of Klamath Falls.

Services were held at 10 A.M. Wednesday at the Free Grace Reformed Church in Middleburg with the Rev. Robert Hector officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens at Sioux Center under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center. Family visitation will be from 7:30-8:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Heusinkveld was born November 25, 1943, at Orange City. He graduated from Sioux Center High School and was a veteran. He married Delores Bosman June 30, 1967, at Lynden, Washington. He was a truck driver for Freightways, Inc.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brian and Bruce; and a daughter, Beth, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Etta Heusinkveld of Sioux Center; a brother, Virgil of Orange, California; a sister, Mrs. Sye Henry (Ruth) Roghair of Alton.
