John Koerselman, 64, of Sheldon, died Sunday, June 21 in a hospital at Sheldon.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Matlock (Iowa) Reformed Church. The Rev. John Heeg officiated. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery at, Matlock under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sheldon.

Mr. Koerselman was born June 1, 1917, at George. He married Gertrude Rikkers March 7, 1940, at Hull. He was employed by the Farmers Elevator Association for 33 years.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, John W. of Little Rock and Luverne of; George; two daughters, Mrs. Darrell; (Twila) De Groot of Boyden and Fonda of Chandler, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Virgil (Geraldine) Hofmeyer of Hartley, Mrs. Richard (Ann) Van Meeteren of Sheldon and Mrs. Don (Josephine) Miller of Rock Valley; four brothers, Albert, Gary and Herman, all of Sheldon and Ben of Merrill; and nine grandchildren.
