GERRIT B. KOERSELMAN
Gerrit B. Koerselman, 75, died May 22, 1981. Services were Monday in the Free Grace Reformed Church at Middleburg. Pastor John Ekema and Pastor William Kolenbrander officiated. Burial was in Middleburg Cemetery with Kraai Funeral home of Hull in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Koerselman was born Jan.7, 1906, the son of Ben and Bennie Koerselmnan. On Jan. 7, 1930 he married Sophia Vander Wilt in Middleburg –and started farming in the Hull area and lived on the farm for 51 years and also retired there. He served the Reformed Church in many capacities including past elder, deacon and Sunday School teacher at Free Grace.

Survivors include the wife, Sophia; 2 daughter: Judy (Mrs. John Visser) at Hull; Muriel (Mrs. Paul De Groot) of Omaha; two sons: Benjamin of Hull and Richard of Dallas, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; 4 brothers: Herman, Ben and Dick of George and Lewis of Amarillo, Texas; 4 sister: Geraldine (Mrs. Harold Wortman) of George, Bertha (Mrs. H. M. Dykstra) of Mineola Minnesota. Lucy (Mrs. Lloyd Eberlien) of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Johanna (Mrs. Bert Eilders) of Spring Valley, MN
