Funeral services were held at 1;30 p.m. Saturday at the American Reformed Church at Orange City for Mrs. Henry Braafhart, 65, of Orange City.

The Rev. Alvin Hook officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton, Iowa, under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mrs. Braafhart was born on March 6, 1901 at Yakima Washington.

Mr. and Mrs. Braafhart moved here from Mallard, Iowa, four years ago.

Surviving are the widower, a sister, Mrs. Sadie Torwelle of Hawarden, Iowa; and two brothers, Andrew Hoogland of Phoenix, Ariz., and Deputy Sherrif Ted Hoogland of Orange City, Iowa
