Mr. Tunis Willemstyn, 87 of Jenison, Michigan, passed away Friday evening, May 13, 1983, at Butterworth Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; his children, Lloyd, and Betty Osterink, Andy and Alyda Hoekema, all of Jenison, Mich., Bill and Coba Rens, of Orange City,, Bill and Henrietta Willemstyn, Ed and Bertha Helmer, all of Jenison, Mich., Chet and Dorothy Willemstyn of Holland, Mich., Eileen Willemstyn, Gerald and Thelma Haverhals, all of Wyoming, Mich., Jo Willemstyn of Grand Rapids, Mich; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; his brothers, John of Jenison, Walter of Kentwood, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Willemstyn were held Tuesday, May 17, at 1 p.m. at the Van't Hof Chapel with his pastor, John S. Meyer of Cottonwood Christian Reformed Church officiating. Interment was in Rosedale Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sunset Manor, Jenison, Michigan.
