Henry M. Vander Spoel of Boyden passed away in the local hospital at four o'clock Wednesday afternoon, November 15th.

He had been ill but a short time and only entered the hospital last Saturday. His illness and death was caused by complications of an old ailment. "Spoely" as he was known by his many friends was only about thirty years of age.

Mr. Vander Spoel was employed in the local Farmers Co-op. Creamery for many years until a couple of years ago when he went to Boyden where he was employed as a buttermaker in the Creamery there.

He is survived by his wife (The former Henrietta Calsbeek) and one son. Also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Vander Spoel of Hull and a brother and sisters.
