Born: 7-13-1942
Died: 3-1-1995

Gloria Wynja, 52, of Sioux Center died Wednesday, March 1, at a Sioux City hospital. Services were at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux
Center with the Rev. Robert Drenten officiating. Burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

She was born in Hull on July 13, 1942, the daughter of Lou and Gerdena (Vreeman) De Boer. She moved with her family to Sioux Center when she was nine. She was graduated from Western Christian High School in Hull and went on to complete a two year education course at Dordt College. She then taught school for two years. She married Verdean Wynja on August 6. 1963, at Bethel Christian
Reformed Church in Sioux Center. They lived In Orange City for two years before moving to the family form south of Hull. She worked at the
Sioux Center Community Hospital.

She was very active in her church, serving as head organist and a member of Mary's Fellowship.
Survivors Include her husband; a daughter and her husband, Pam and Lyle De Wit of Ireton; two sons and their wives, Kevin and Sandi of Sioux Center and Scott and Melanie of Sioux City; three grandchildren, Shawna, Jason and Cassandra De
Wit; and her mother of Sioux Center.

She was preceded in death by her father; her step- father, Wiebe De Vries; and three sisters.
