Funeral services for Mrt. Frank Wynia, 69, long-time Sioux Center resident, who died at the Methodist hospital in Sioux City Tuesday afternoon, will be held at the First Reformed church here at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 26. The Rev. Harry Brower will officiate. Burial will be made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery with Vander Ploeg's Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wynia, nee Johanna Rodenburgh, was born October 22, 1893, in The Netherlands.
She was married to Frank Wynia November 19, 1915, and the couple farmed near Sioux Center for many years prior to moving into Sioux Center. Mr. Wynia passed away April 14, 1947.

Survivors include the following children: Louis of Rock Rapids, Miss Tena Wynia of Sioux Center, Cornie of Sibley, Martin of Maurice, Melvin of Rock Rapids and Frances of Sioux Center. Also surviving her are 18 grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters, Elizabeth Vander Steen of Edgerton, Minn., and Mrs. Thedora Vander Werff of Hull, and a brother, Leonard Rodenburgh of Leota, Minn.

One grandson, Corwin, preceded her in death on July 30, 1947.
