Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Orange City at 1:30pm on May 1 for Mrs. Wilbur Vande Brake, 44, of Orange City, who died at her farm home April 29 following an illness of long duration.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Alvin Eissens and burial was made in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

The former Wilma Jean Aalberts was born at Orange City July 4, 1926. She was married to Wilbur Vande Brake September 3, 1945, and had since resided on a farm near Orange City.

Survivors include the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Vogel in Massachusetts and Vicki at home; a son, Robert at home; her father, Garrett Aalberts, of Orange City; two brothers, Kenneth Aalberts of Orange City and John B. Aalberts of Covina, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Claude Vande Zwaag of Hull, Mrs. Alvin Bomgaars and Mrs. Rudy Grienke of Orange City.
