Funeral services were held June 9, at the First Christian Reformed Church at Idskenhuicen, The Netherlands, for Michiel Osinga, 82, who passed away June 6 at a hospital in Friesland, the Netherlands, after a short illness.

Mr. Osinga was born July 8, 1888 in Friesland where he lived all his life. He was married to Margie Woudstra, December 10, 1913. She preceded him in death October 31, 1959.

Survivors include five children. Siebren of Hull, Sietska (Mrs. Folkert Sljbesma), Pete, Aukje (Mrs. Ids Schaap), and Dirkje (Mrs. Kees Sljbesma) and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Fetje Osinga and a twin sister, Mrs. P. Vander Velde, all of Friesland, 27 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Three sons also preceded him in death.
