Funeral Services were held Tuesday December 14, in the First Reformed Church of Orange City, for Edward Van Tubergen 68, who passed away suddenly Saturday at his home from a heart attack.

Mr. Van Tubergen was born in Overijsel Mich. November 18, 1897. He came to Sioux County to the Newkirk vicinity 46 years ago. He married Susan Harmelink in 1919. Mr and Mrs. Tubergen moved to Orange City about 12 years ago.

Survivors include the widow, three daughters, Johanna (Mrs. Al Hatfield) of South Bend Ind. Mina (Mrs Gary Miller) of Des Moines, Ia, Jeanette of Sioux City, two sons, Gerald of Newkirk and Edgar of George. There are 7 grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home and interment was made in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.
