Funeral services for Henry K. Trageser, 84, were held Friday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. O. F. Pittack officiating. Interment was made in Grace Hill Cemetery with the Barnard Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Trageser was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Trageser June 20, 1873 in Madison, Wisc. At about the turn of the cemtury he arrived in Sioux County where he was engaged in farming southwest of Hawarden about 50 years.

On Feb. 1, 1922, he married Frieda Hildebrandt at Sioux City. On May 21, 1939 he affiliated himself with the local congregation by profession of faith in the rite of confirmation.

During the past several years he was failing in health and last year submitted to an operation in Sioux City. More recently he suffered several strokes and finally succumbed to one on Wednesay morning Feb. 12.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two sons, Donald, in infancy, and William, at age 3. and a sister.

Surviving are his widow, Frieda; one son, Robert; three grandchildren; a brother, August, all of Hawarden, and a number of nephews and nieces.
