Funeral services were held at the Netherlands Reformed church here at 2 p.m. Monday, December 2, for Jella Fluit, 54, longtime Sioux Center resident, who died at his home here November 28 following a brief illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Cornelius Hegeman and burial was made in Sioux Center Community Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.

He was married to Jennie De Bond at Lester November 24, 1937.

Survivors include the widow, four sons, Tunis, Gerald, Bernard and James of Sioux Center; three daughters, Mrs. Everett (Clazina) Ginkel of Rock Valley, Mrs. Donald Lanigan and Miss Mary Lynn of Sioux Center; and four sisters, Mrs. Henry Hoefakker of Rock Valley, Mrs. Gerrit Rozeboom of Doon, Mrs. Henry Van Voorst of Sioux Center and Mrs. Ray Klaarenbeek of Inwood.
