Sioux Center News August 19, 1937

Juan Arlene, six month old baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Van't Hof passed away Monday evening, Aug. 9th. The baby had suffered Spina Bifida since birth.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the home of her parents near Sanborn with Rev. John Straks officiating and Rev. Wm Van't ?? of Holland Michigan took charge of the short services held at the West Lawn cemetery of Hospers.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her parents and two sisters. Those from here who attended the funeral were Mrs. L. Van't Hof, Mrs. Arta De Graaf and Audrey, Mrs. Grace Klein, Mr. and Mrs. Henry De Haan of Hospers.
