Funeral services were held Saturday in the Silver Creek Reformed Church for Henry Zylstra, 74, of rural Maple Lake Mn. Pastor Elmer Vaner Ploeg officiated, He died on May 21 folloing a long illness with cancer.

Mr. Zylstra was born at rural Boyden and spent his boyhood and early adult years in Doon. He Married Ann Wiedma in Doon on Feb. 25, 1938, in Doon. In 1946 they moved to rural Maple Lake.

Survivors include the widow, one son, David of Maple Lake, three daughters, Mrs. Keith (Sally) Schermer of Maple Lake, Mrs. Melvin (Bonnie) Rozenberg of Maple Lake and Cindy Walters of Clearwater, Mn.; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two sister Mrs. Tracy Aardema and Mrs. Rena Gorter, both of Doon; one brother, Fred Zylstra of Sioux Center.
