Ralph Wiechers, 95, died Oct. 1 at the Sioux Center Hospital.

Services were held Oct. 3 at the Lebanon Christian Reformed Church. Rev. Tom De Does officiated. Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery under direction of the Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center.

Mr. Wiechers, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wiechers, was born in Sioux Center on April 7, 1890. He attended a rural school. He was married to Minnie Harmelink of Newkirk on June 26, 1914. They farmed in the Middleburg area until 1920 and then in the Lebanon area. She passed away April 26, 1942.

He was a member of the Lebanon Christian Reformed Church and served as deacon there for many years.

Mr. Wiechers is survived by his son, John of Hawarden; a granddaughter, Minerva (Mrs. Roger Bomgaars) of Sioux Center, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother, three sisters and two brothers in infancy.
