Ralph Zwart, 73, of Matlock, died Monday, March 31, 1980 in a hospital
at Rock Valley. Services were Thursday, April 3 in St. John Lutheran
Church, rural Boyden. The Rev. Daniel Hart officiated. Burial was in
St. John Lutheran Cemetery under direction of the Van Gelder Funeral
Home of Orange City.
Mr. Zwart was born Aug. 29, 1906 at rural Orange City. He married
Martha Meyer March 5, 1974 at Orange City. He spent most of his life
in the Sioux County area where he was engaged in custom farming. They
moved to Matlock in 1976, prior to that they had lived in Maurice. He
was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Survivors include the widow.
