William Zwaan passed away at the Orange City county home on Saturday morning following a heart attack. He had reached the age of 59 years.

Mr. Zwaan was employed at the Abe De Vries farm for many years and had entered the county home about three weeks ago to take a rest. He was a member of the local Protestant Reformed Church.

The only survivor is a brother Henry who makes home near Doon.

Funeral services were held at Protestant Reformed Church at Doon on Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Blankespoor officiating.
