Jerald Zylstra, 80, of Hull died Thursday, February 2, at a hospital in Sioux City. Services were at 11 A.M. Monday, February 6, at First Reformed Church in Hull with Gerald Vander Velde officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Zylstra was born March 20, 1908, in The Netherlands. He came to the United States in 1929. He married Dora Te Slaa January 3, 1935, in Hull. They farmed northwest of Hull for 35 years and moved into Hull in 1966.

He was a member of First Reformed Church in Hull where he was assistant Sunday school treasurer for many years.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cornelia Bevill of Dearin, Connecticut; two sons, Henry of Alburnett and Stanley of Hull; a brother, Jacob, and a sister, Winifred De Haan, both of The Netherlands; and seven grandchildren.
