Funeral services were held Friday in Hawarden for Norwyn Leslie Ykema, infant son of Pvt. And Mrs. Norman Ykema, with Rev. Peter Vander Weide of the Lebanon Christian Reformed Church officiating. Burial was at Grace Hill Cemetery.

Norwyn was born February 14, 1953, at Hawarden and had not been well since birth. The little boy was never taken from the hospital. Pvt. Ykema, who is station at Camp Gordon, Georgia, returned for the funeral.

Besides the parents, the baby is survived by the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ykema of Rock Valley and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Egdom of Hawarden.
