Died: November 2, 1989John Wyffels, 72, of rural Rock Valley died Thursday, November 2, 1989, at his home.
Services were held Saturday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. Donald Smith officiating. Burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.
Mr. Wyffels was born March 22, 1917, on the family farm near Rock Valley. He attended country school and St. Mary’s School in Rock Valley. He was a lifelong area farmer.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Irene Ranschau of Rock Valley, Loretta Wyffels of rural Rock Valley and Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Walcott of Sioux City, and nephews and nieces.
