Henry Willemsen, 76, died at his home here Saturday after an illness of several months.

He was born in Zutphen, Gelderland, Netherlands, September 20,1875 and came to America at the age of 5. The family lived on a farm near Alton.

Later they moved to a farm near Middleburg. March 1, 1900 he married Jennie Va Beek. In 1917, they moved to Sioux Center, where they have resided since.

Surviving are the widow, six children, Mrs. J. B. Vande Berg and Mary Willemsen, both of Sioux Center, Mrs. Art Van Wyk of Santa Maria, California, Gary Willemsen, of Villisca, Iowa, Mrs. Joe Fieberg of Camp Dodge, Iowa, and Henrietta Willemsen of Glendale, California. There are 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Mrs. Minnie Van Meveren of Seattle, Washington.
