Sidney Andrew Middle of Corsicana, Texas, died Wednesday April 14, at the age of 66. The funeral service was held April 19 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Corsicana with the Rev. Teri Hildebrand presiding.

Sidney Middle was born February 6, 1938, to Louis and Nellie Middle. He was born in Rock Valley and educated at Rock Valley Public School. He joined the U.S. Air Force and servd for 10 years.

Survivors include his wife Mary Jo of Corsicana, TX; 3 sons; Allen of Salina, K.S. Edward of Corsicana TX. and Gary (Sonna) of Salina KS; A daughter, Elizabeth Rene Middle of Richardson, TX; three brothers; George (Kathryn) of Rock Valley, Herbert (Dee) of Arlington, VA, and Lawrence (Maureen) of Des Moines, Ia; two sisters, Wilma (Dave) Hendersn of Central City IA. Sharon Hoard of Rapid City S.D. four grandsons; one granddaughter; two step grand children.

Middle was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; Matilda Elwood.
