Funeral services for E.R. Truesdell, 67, 27294 Orchard Place , South Gate, Calif., who died Tuesday, January 8, were held at the Wheat-Halverson Funeral Home in Huntington Park, Calif., on Friday, January 11. Rev. Claud Smith was the minister and burial was in Inglewood cemetery.

Edward Rankin Truesdell was born January 12, 1884, at Vail, Iowa. He married Miss Mary Ione Harding of Alcester December 25, 1909.

Mr. Tuesdell lived and worked in Hawarden, Sioux City, LeMars and Alcester for many years before moving to Los Angeles in 1943, where he and his wife resided since that time.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Los Angeles.

Besides the widow, the survivors are two sons, Rexford H. Truesdell of Hawarden and Myrle E. of LeMars; four daughters, Mrs. Marlin Bartlett of Alcester, Mrs. Elvin Thomas of South Gate Calif., Mrs. Charles Carter of Downey, Calif., and Mrs. Wayne Dack of Milwaukee, Wis., two sisters, Mrs. Curt Eiffert and Miss Gladys Truesdell of Dayton, Ohio, and one brother, Rexford M. Truesdell of Pasadena, Calif., and 14 grandchildren.

All of his children attended his funeral.
