Mrs. Christ Koester died on last Friday evening at the age of seventy-two years. Death was due to a paralytic stroke. She leaves a husband and two childrea—Mrs. Fred Wagener and Mrs. Henry Funck—
to monrn her loss. She with her husband lived about five miles north of Hull for many years.

About a year ago they moved into Hull in order to be near their children and spend the remaining years of their lives in comfort.

(The Sioux County cemetery index lists - Christ Koster b. 3 Jul 1830 died 6 Oct 1905 and Mrs. Christ Koster b. 3 Jul 1833 died 30 Mar 1905 both buried in St. Paul Luth Cemetery Hull. The 1900 census stated he was born 1833.)
