Mrs. Cornelius H. Van Oort , 95, of Rock Valley, died Wednesday inn a hospital at Rock Valley after a brief illness.. Services were Saturday in the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. Gordon Bloememdall officiated. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery.

Mrs. Van Oort, the former Albertha Nuyenhuis, was born Dec. 16, 1886 in the Netherlands. She came to the United State at the age of 19. She married Cornelius Mar. 24, 1914 at Middleburg. They farmed in the Larchwood and Inwood area until 1953 when they retired and moved to Rock Valley. He died Sep.29, 1961. This was his second marraige.

Survivors include three sons, Albert of Rock Valley, Henry of RockRapids and Arnold of Miltona Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Weber (Jane) Burgers of Rock Valley, Mrs. Edwin (Eva) Van Berkum and Mrs. Willard (Harriet) Thompson, both of Sioux Falls, SD; 19 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren
