From the Sioux City Journal, about May 5, 1965 (handwritten date of death at top of clipping is May 3, 1965 which was a Monday):

FREMONT E. KUECKER

LEMARS, Iowa — Special: Funeral services for Fremont E. Kuecker, 64, of Maurice, Iowa, who died Monday at the Sacred Heart Hospital here, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mauer Funeral Home in Le Mars. The Revs. L. L. Belk and Robert Floy will officiate and burial will be in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Fremont, a stock raiser and feeder, was born July 13, 1900, in Plymouth County, and he married Viola Cardwell Feb. 25, 1921, in Le Mars. He lived most of his life in Sioux County near Maurice. Mrs. Kuecker died in 1962 at Maurice.

Survivors are one son, Robert E. of Maurice, and one brother, Henry of Maurice.

Poster's note: In the 1925 Iowa census, Fremont Kuecker gives his parents' names as Clara (Fritz) and Dick Kuecker
