Mark Alan Van Den Top, 18, Rock Valley died early Saturday morning, July 18 in an auto accident near Rock Valley.

Services were 1:30pm Monday in Porter Funeral Home. The Rev. A. Vergunst officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

Mr. Van Den Top was born Jan. 26, 1963 at Canton, S.D. He was graduated from Rock Valley in 1981.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Van Den Top; two brothers, Steven and Karl, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Engel (Sharon) Knibbe of Carmel and Tricia at home; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Van Den Top of Rock Valley and his maternal grandfather, William Ter Meer of Sioux Center.
