Mrs. Doornewaard died last Friday at the age of sixty two (or 66 yrs) at the home of her daughter Mrs. J. Vos four miles west of Sioux Center. She had been sick only a few days with pneumonia. The funeral was held Monday from the first Reformed church.

(This is believed to be Jannetje Van't Hull, Mrs. Gerrit Doornewaard. The Sioux County Herald reported on that a Mrs. Yantje Doornewaard had died from Sioux Center on this date. The records of Rev. DePree of the Reformed church in Sioux Center reported a Mrs. Doornewaard age 66 yrs died March of 1905. A marriage record was found on www.wiewaswie.nl Gerrit Doornewaard married March 3, 1865 at Ermelo, Gelderland, Netherlands to Jannetje Van't Hull dau of Berend Van't Hull and Driesje van de Bunte.)
