Jennie De Bondt, 94, of Sioux Center died Saturday, March 20, 1993, at a nursing home in Hull.

Services were held at 1:30 P. M. Tuesday at the Vander Ploeg Chapel in Sioux Center and at 2 P. M. Tuesday at the Netherlands Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. John Den Hoed officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Sioux Center.

Mrs. De Bondt, the former Jennie Vander Pol, was born August 25, 1898, in the Netherlands. She married Arie De Bondt March 14, 1923, in the Netherlands. The couple came to the United States in 1923. He died May 26, 1955.

Survivors include a son, Bernard of Rock Valley; two daughters, Marie De Bondt of Sioux Center and Mrs. Leonard (Henrietta) Bonestroo of Boyden; a sister, Wilhelmina in The Netherlands; 22 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, John; a daughter, Jennie Fluit; a sister, a brother; two grandchildren; one great-grand child; and one great-great-grandchild.
