Hull - Mrs. John Vander Kooi died Wednesday, August 17th at the age of 62 years. Funeral services were held Saturday from the Christian Reformed Church, with her pastor, Rev. H. Van Deelen in charge. Johanna Ten Harmsel was born in the Netherlands in 1893. She came to America in 1920 and was married to Mr. John Vander Kooi on Oct. 13, 1922.

Surviving are her husband, John, and one daughter, Pearl. A son, William preceded her in death in 1945 while in service. He lost his life in Germany. Other survivors include five brothers, Anthony, John, Henry, Herman and Chris, and three sisters, Fannie, Mrs. Berenschot; Dena and Pearl Ten Harmsel.

Funeral Services Held Saturday For Mrs. Vander Kooi

Mrs. John Vander Kooi of Hull died Wednesday, August 17. Funeral services were held Saturday from the Christian Deformed church with the Rev. H. Van Deelen officiating. Johanna Ten Harmsel was born in the Netherlands in 1893 and came to America in 1920. She married John Vander Kooi October 13, 1922. Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Pearl, a son, William, preceded her in death in 1945 while in the service.
