The obituary of Mrs. E. Dingman follows. Based on other newspaper articles and information available on the web, we believe that she was Florence Underwood, born in May 1848 in Wisconsin (per 1900 Federal Census for Plymouth County) and that she married Edgar Dingman about 1879.

The obituary that follows was in the July 16, 1914 issue of the Hawarden Independent:

Death of Mrs. Dingman

A Former Resident of Hawarden Dies in Sioux City

Mr. and Mrs. Jas. White were called to Sioux City Saturday by the death of Mrs. White's sister, Mrs. E. Dingman, who passed away Sunday. The deceased was quite well known here, having been a resident of Hawarden a number of years ago and made numerous visits here since her removal to Sioux City. Funeral services were held at the home in Sioux City Tuesday afternoon and interment was made in Graceland Park cemetery. Mrs. Dingman is survived by her husband, six sons, one daughter, three sisters and two brothers. The sons are Frank, Fred, Ray, William, James and Albert Dingman. Mrs. G. C. Smith is the daughter. Sisters are Mrs. Jas. White of Hawarden, Mrs. Harry Weitman of Hazelton, and Mrs. Cora Southwick of Freeport, Illinois. Hiram Underwood and Fred Underwood are the brothers.

Upon returning from Sioux City yesterday where she had been to bury a sister, Mrs. Jas. White received a telegram conveying the sad news that another sister, Mrs. Sarah Weitman of Hazelton, this state, was not expected to live. Mrs. White left on the afternoon train for Hazelton.
