Rock Valley, IA - Mrs. Gerrit Vanden Brink, 85, of Rock Valley died Tuesday in a hospital at Rock Valley.

Services Friday in the First Reformed Church at Rock Valley. The Revs. Gordon Bloemendaal and Cecil Martins of Orange City officiated. Burial in the Valley View Cemetery.

Mrs. Vanden Brink, the former Tracy Wiarda, was born Jan. 29, 1896, in the Netherlands. She came to the United States in 1913.

She was married Feb. 7, 1917 at Rock Valley.

Survivors include the widower; one son, Ceel of Lansing, Mich; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Gertie) Vander Ploeg of Paullina and Mrs. Henry (Gladys) Kroon of Eagle Grove; one brother, Nick of Largo, Fla; one sister, Mrs. Fred Van Ness of Rock Valley; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
