MISS DOUGHERTY

Miss Evelyn A. Dougherty, 58, Sheldon, died Aug. 23 at University Hospitals in Iowa City. The funeral was at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27 in Si. Patrick Catholic Church at Sheldon. The Rt. Rev. Ms'gr. Cletus Keleher officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rosary was recited Aug. 26 in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home at 4 p.m. by the Legion of Mary, 7 p.m. by the Ladies Guild , at 7:30 by the Catholic Daughters of America and at 8 p.m. by members of the parish.

Miss Dougherty was born Nov. 12, 1914, at Granville. Survivors include two sisters. Miss Helen Doughery of Sheldon and Mrs. Jule (Margaret) Schwarz of Ashton; two brothers,
Kenneth of Glenwood, Minn., and Leonard of Sheldon.
