Mrs. Jake Van Noort

Rock Valley: Mrs. Jake Van Noort passed away at the LaMars Hospital Saturday morning, June 29, at the age of 76 years.

Maaike Van Kekerix was born in the Netherlands on Feb 6, 1870. In 1895 she was married to Jan Boon. To this union four children were born, one of whom died in 1912 at the age of 15. In 1903 Mr. Boon passed away, and in 1907 she was married to Jake Van Noort. To this union Three children were born.

Surviving are the following Children: Anna (Mrs. Walt Swier) of Ripon CA, Bessie Mrs. Joe Nov of Hynes CA, Sarah (Mrs. Heman Van Maanen) of Beaver Creek MN, Nancy (Mrs. Albert Van Beek), Leonard and Gibert Van Noort all of Rock Valley. She also leaves 21 granchildren and 4 great Grandchildren and 4 great grand children, beside two step children, Mrs. Nick Koning of Rock Vallay and Gerrit Van Noort of Fairview SD, and grand children.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the home and the old Reformed church.
