TOWN AND COUNTY.

C. B. Zoete died at his home just north of town (Orange City?) at four o'clock this morning. His death was sudden and was due to heart failure. He was around about his work as usual yesterday and apparently felt as well as usual, but he has been aftlicted with consumption for some time. He was born in Holland in August, 1842 and came to this country about sixteen years ago, and settled in Sioux county where he has lived ever since. His three sons, Bert, Arend, and Nick have all died of consumption within the past two years. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and two daughters, Mrs. N. Nattee of Chandler, Minn., and Mrs. J. Dolieslager of Clear Lake, S. D. Their friends exend to them their sincerest sympathy in this hour of trial.

Sioux County Herald, Wednesday, July 18, 1906 Orange City, Iowa.
