Henry Kleinwolterink, 56, of Sheldon died Friday, March 24, 1995 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27 at the First Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon. The Rev. John Vermeer officiated. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home, Sheldon.

Henry was born July 16, 1938 in Sheldon, the son of Henry and Marie (Lems) Kleinwolterink. He grew up in Sheldon and, after graduating from Western Christian High School in Hull, he served in the United States Army Reserves. He married Norma Marie Brink March 10, 1959 in Sheldon, where they made their home.

He was involved in manufacturing, and in 1978 founded Stand Aid of Iowa, which manufactures equipment for the disabled. Later they established the GEMCO subsidiary, which exports to Middle Eastern countries. Mr. Kleinwolterink was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Sheldon.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sandy of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Mike, and Leon and his wifeCarla, all of Sheldon; two grandsons, Cole Henry and Zachary; two brothers and their wives, Edwin and Emilene of Sibley, and Myron and Marilyn of Sheldon; a sister and her husband, Lorna and Bernie Reinders of Orange City; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Memorials are being directed to the ALS Association and the First Christian Reformed Church.
