Mike Van Dyke, 82, of Inwood died Sunday, July 10, 1994, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D. Services will be held today (Wednesday) at 1:30 p.m. at First Reformed Church, Inwood, with interment in Richland Cemetery.

Mr. Van Dyke was born Sept. 2, 1911, in Hull. On Aug. 7, 1948, he married Emily Walters in Lebanon, Pa. They lived in Pennsylvania one year before moving to Inwood. He worked as a farm hand before driving trucks for Buitendyk Brothers Trucking, Inwood. In 1968, he worked for the Hiawatha Golf Course in Canton, S.D., and in 1970 he began driving trucks for Lyon County.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Herb and Vern, both of Inwood; one daughter, Evie Wieczorek of Sioux Falls; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill of Inwood and Andy of Harrisburg, Pa., and three sisters, Mrs. William (Alice) Vander Pol and Mrs. Arie (Grace) Boertje, both of Riverside, Calif., and Tryna Christoffels of Mira Loma, Calif.
