MRS. HENRY VAN AARTSEN.
Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church at Hull August 17 for Mrs. Henry Van Aartsen, 74, of Hull, who died August 14 at Rock Rapids nursery home. Services were conducted by the Rev. John Vos and burial was made in the Riverview cemetery at Hull.

The former Jennie Roelofs was born at April 9, 1896, at Nijverdal, [*province of Overijssel], the Netherlands. She came to the US in 1920. She was married to Henry Van Aartsen on February 1, 1923. He died in May of 1944. Mrs. Van Aartsen had been a Sioux county resident until moving to Lyon county 27 years ago.

Survivors include four sons, Bernard and John of Rock Rapids, Gerrite of Luverne, and Henry of Orange City, two daughters, Mrs. John Boote of Hull, and Mrs. Leonard Lens of Luverne, a sister, Mrs. Leonard Wildeman of Rock Rapids, a brother, Ben, of Artesia, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
