DOROTHY SCHULLER.

Mrs. Dorothy L. Schuller, age 65, of Alton, died Monday, Feb. 25, 1991 at the Orange City Municipal Hospital.

Dorothy Lonnelle was born April 17, 1925 at Sheldon, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Jackson) Vander Wiel. She was a graduate of the Sheldon High School. On June 18, 1946 at Sheldon, she married John Adrian Schuller of Hospers. They resided at Alton where she was associated with Stanley Home Products for 33 years. Mrs. Schuller was a member of the Alton Reformed Church where she had belonged to the Ruth Circle and Reformed Church Women. She was also a 35 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Hospers.

Survivors include her husband, John of Alton; son, Dr. Rodney and his wife Virginia of LeMars; a grandson, Matthew of LeMars and Cedar Falls; granddaughter, Heather of LeMars; mother, Mary Vander Wiel of Sheldon; sister, Marjorie Spence of Holiday, Fla.; and two brothers, Richard Vander Wiel of Visalia, Calif., and Jack Vander Wiel of Sheldon. She was preceded in death by her father. Memorial services were held Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the Alton Reformed Church with the Revs. Robert Vander Schaaf and Garret Docter officiating. Interment was prior to the service at East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon under the direction of the Van Etten-Oolman- Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.
