Mrs. Paul Vande Hoef, 86, of Boyden, died Friday, February 29, in a hospital in Sheldon. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, in the First Reformed Church at Boyden. The Rev. Sylvester Moths officiated. Burial was in Middleburg Cemetery, rural Orange City, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Vande Hoef, the former Maggie Van Meeteren, was born April 15, 1893, near Newkirk. She was married Jan. 29, 1915, in Newkirk. They lived in rural Middleburg and Boyden moving to Boyden in 1915. Mr. Vande Hoef died Dec. 15, 1973.

Survivors include three sons, Willard of Englewond, Colo., Richard P. of Harris and Paul of Hudsonville, Mich.; two daughters.. Mrs. Gerald (Jeanette) Calsbeek of Soiux Center and Mrs. Henry (Anna Mae) Van Aalnburg of Boyden;
18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Miss Jeanette of Sibley.
