HAROLD VANDE HOEF
HAWARDEN, Iowa- Harold Vande Hoef. 57, of Eagle. Neb., formerly of Hawarden, died Sunday in a hospital at Lincoln, Neb., after a one-year illness.

Services were held Wednesday in Roper and Sons Morturay at Lincoln.

Mr Vande Hoef was born July 24, 1924, near Hawarden. He married Mary Etta Vellinga at Ireton. They farmed near Hawarden, later moved to Mapleton and then to Nebraska where he worked for the Coop Association for the last 18 years.

Survivors include his wife; four sons. Harold Jr. of Elmwood. Neb., Daryl of Lincoln, Ray of Longmont, Colo., and Ed of Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Sharyl Paswaters of Longmont. Joyce Vande Hoef of Denver and Donna Green of Mesa, Ariz.; his father, Ed Vande Hoef of Ireton; three brothers. Adrian of Beaumont, Texas, Tony of Denver and Dick of Ireton; five sisters. Cathy Bowden of Hawarden, Joann Winterfeld
of Ireton, Edna Whittington of Mitchell, S.D., Agnes Kleinhesselink of Hixson, Tenn., and Charlene Schiefen of Hawarden and nine grandchildren.
