CARL F. WENDT
Carl F. Wendt, 78, of Hull, died Monday at the Rock Valley hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the American Reformed Church at Hull. The Rev. Walter Disch will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery in Chicago, IL., under the direction of the Kraai Funeral Home of Hull.

Mr. Wendt was born Nov. 9, 1900, in Chicago. He married Martha Konson June 3, 1923.She died in 1946. He married Lillie Downey Aug. 30, 1947, in Chicago. He was a World War I veteran and worked in the field of radio and electronics. He was a member of the American Reformed Church at Hull and Aaron Post 788 American Legion in Chicago.

Survivors include the widow; three sons, John of Gurnee, IL., Carl of Kokomo, Ind., and Bill of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. William (Anne) Dickson of La Canada, Calif and Mrs. Jacob L. (Sharon) Moss of Hull; one sister, Mrs. William (Anna) Lahann of Emmetsburg; 10 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren
