Mrs. Cora Ward, 83, a former Ireton resident, died last Thursday while visiting at Morton, Ill.

A daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William A. Morgan, she was born Aug. 4, 1871, in Benton County, IA. The family later moved to Ireton where on September 15, 1892, she was married to William M. Ward. Mr. Ward, a son and a brother preceded her in death.

She was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Survivors are two sons, Morgan Ward of Morton, Ill, and Robert of Grand Rapids, Mich; three daughters, Mrs. H. H. Brown of Palatine, Ill; Mrs. Gerald Pauley of Richmond Heights, MO and Mrs. T. J. Harper of Evanston, Ill; two brothers, Alf Morgan of Hawarden and Harry Morgan of Starbuck, Minn; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Sioux City. Rev. F. H. Shaner of St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiated. Burial was in Logan Cemetery.
