FUNERAL SERVICE:: July 27, 2001 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton, Iowa
INTERMENT: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ireton, Iowa
Kenneth Roy Toczek was born June 2, 1950 at Yankton, South Dakota, the son of Roy and Elizabeth (Goeken) Toczek. He graduated from the Scotland, South Dakota High School in 1968. He served with the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1977. Kenneth married Martha Zeeb on October 2, 1970 at Menno, South Dakota.

He was vice president and owner of Sol Lewis Appliance Co in Omaha, Nebraska from 1977 to 1978. He ran the Pastime Bar and Grill in Ireton from 1978 to 1984 and later was selfemployed in Specialty Advertising from 1982 to 1997. They moved to Henderson, Nevada in 1998 where he was employed at Sunset Station Casino.

Ken died Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at his daughter's residence in Ireton at the age of 51 years. Ken was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton and the Bertram Post 276 American Legion in Ireton.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Marty; son, Andy Toczek of Minneapolis, Minnesota; daughter, Gretchen Schuller and husband Wayne of Ireton; brother, Keith and wife Cathy of Slidell, Louisiana; sister, Kathy Blankenship and husband Dan of Jackson, Mississippi; and grandson, Trevor Schuller.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents.
