Mrs. Sentje (spelling?) of Plato township died last week from the effects of a nervous shock. In cleaning house she had several boxes piled near the stairway and the children were playing nearby In some way the boxes fell and thinking one of the children had fallen gave her such a fright that she died almost instantly.

( The submitter tried to find more on this Mrs. Sentje but was unable to find anything. The spelling of the name could be in error and be such as Steintje or so. Anyone knowing anything further about this lady contact our page coordinator. )
