Sioux County Herald of June 1, 1904

T. Wagenaar, aged 58 years, died at his home in the southeast part of the city after a long illness, on Wednesday evening of last week at 8:30 o'clock. Deceased had been a resident of Orange City since 1898, was a native of the Netherlands, and was a good Christian citizen; The grown children, two sons and a daughter, are left to mourn his death. The funeral was held on last Friday afternoon from the Christian Reformed church, conducted by the Rev. I. Van Dellen.

(From the www.wiewaswie.nl site found the marriage of Tjalling Wagenaar born 25 Oct 1846 Oudwoude Friesland Neth. to Simon Tekes Wagenaar and Janke Tjallings Kloosterman he died May 25, 1904 Orange City Ia , Sytske Vander Ploeg born 1842 Westergeest, Friesland, Netherlands to Kornelis Ruurds Vander Ploeg and Janke Jans de Boer, they were married 16 May 1872 in Kollemerland, Friesland, Netherlands, there were three children born to them - Kornelis 16 Jun 1879, Simon 25 Jun 1876, and Janke 10 Aug 1873. Sytske died between 1900-1904 buried Orange City. )
