The ten months old boy of Mr. and Mrs. Nic Steichen of east of town died Tuesday after a brief illness of throat trouble. The funeral was held Thursday forenoon from St. Mary's church and the remains laid to rest in the local catholic cemetery (St. Marys).

(this was found to be the son of Nick Steichen 1871-1954 and Katherine Krantz 1877-1912. The other children were - Sophia, Gertrude, Mathias, Raymond, Leo and Clarence.)
