Funeral services for Mrs. Eeltje Dykstra nee Tryntjes Dykstra , 88 who passed away Monday, March 15 at the Rock Rapids hospital were held at 1:00 Thursday March 18 at the Bapist church of Sioux Center. The Rev. H. Ketcham officiated. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley, under the direction of the Co-operative Homes of Sioux Center.

Mrs., Dykstra the daughter of John and Jessie (Holkeboer) Dykstra were born in the Netherlands, November 20, 1877. She came from the Netherlands to Sioux County and in 1898 was united in marriage to Eeltjes Dykstra in Orange City. They lived and farmed in the Middelburg and Rock Valley area until they retired and moved to Rock Valley
